"I have found St Helens College 14-16 Academy extremely supportive in regards to my daughter’s education. The staff and teachers couldn’t be more helpful in catering for my daughter’s needs. In the past she has found it difficult to keep up, as she suffers with learning difficulties. St Helens College 14-16 Academy goes above and beyond to support her, which she didn’t receive in her previous school."

"I have noticed a dramatic improvement in Lauren’s grades since starting at St Helens College 14-16 Academy. I feel she benefits and enjoys the smaller class sizes of 11-15 the most, as she struggled to keep up in her previous school which held classes of 35. The support is much more focused from staff who are really friendly and extremely approachable."

"Matthew’s circumstances are unique; the support he has received from St Helens College 14-16 Academy has been excellent. Having the opportunity to do an industry pathway, has enabled him to develop personal skills and employability skills which will carry him through into his working life."

"I’ve found that Chloe is a lot happier in herself since she started here. She particularly enjoys St Helens College 14-16 Academy’s extra enrichment activities like the Into Film Club, which she didn’t have access to at her old school."

"His confidence has grown so much since he joined St Helens College 14-16 Academy and we feel it was the best decision for his future to come here.

The one-to-one support provided by the teaching staff and how they motivate, encourage and create a friendly environment has made a difference."

"My son wasn't happy at his last school and had heard about the vocational courses he could study alongside his GCSEs at St Helens College 14-16 Academy which really interested him.

He has learnt so much in a short space of time and is treated like an independent adult. He now thoroughly enjoys his studies and his confidence has improved."

"We do firmly believe that if Louise had continued in her previous school, she wouldn't have achieved as much as she has. She has worked hard and the support from all the staff and acknowledging her potential has helped her to achieve."
