At this stage, you may or may not have an idea of what you would like to do once you have finished your GCSEs. So to help you make your final decision, we have lots of events taking place so that you can explore our facilities, your course interests and meet tutors and current students. Take a look at our Upcoming Events.

These are the next steps that you need to take in order to secure your place at St Helens College.

Step 1

Choose your route

Have a look at what courses we have on offer and decide what you would like to do. If you are not sure which course to choose, come along to one of our Open Events and chat with our careers advisers and tutors.

Step 2

Submit your application

Apply online by filling in our application form, or collect an application form from either the Town Centre Campus or STEM Centre, Technology Campus reception and hand it back in.

Step 3

Introduce yourself

Once you have submitted your application form, you will then need to attend an interview event. You will meet your tutors, find out more about your chosen course and secure your place ready for September. Friends and family are welcome to come along too.

Step 4

Experience Day

Once you have secured your place, the next step is to come along to our Experience Day in July. You will have the opportunity to make new friends on your course, get involved in fun activities in your subject choice and meet the tutors. Why not bring a friend along too?

Step 5

Once you have collected your GCSE results, drop in to College to enrol on your course, collect your student ID and pick up any other information you might need such as financial support or help with your English and maths.

Step 6

Big Welcome

You are now officially a St Helens College student and the ultimate student experience begins. Come to our Big Welcome event for freebies, giveaways, discounts, games and photo booth fun!
