Invest in the future, invest in an apprentice or trainee!

Hiring an apprentice can be extremely beneficial for your business. Apprenticeships provide you with a full-time member of your workforce who will work under your supervision to receive on-the-job training and college-based learning to gain an industry related qualification.

By taking on a trainee, your business could help unlock the potential of young people, who need a helping hand in stepping onto the career ladder. Traineeships aim to provide young people with the work experience and the training essential to preparing for the world of work.

Traineeships are also an excellent opportunity for your business if you are considering hiring an apprenticeship. The short-term placement will give a better indication of whether your business would benefit from an apprentice.

What can I expect?

Apprentices typically tend to be school leavers over the age of 16 who is looking to gain a work-based qualification whilst currently developing industry experience.

If you already have an employee looking to grain a qualification relevant to their current role, then they could also complete an apprenticeship, regardless of their age.
