CIPD Award News WebThree St Helens College students have received Student of the Year Awards from the Human Resources professional body, the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD).

At an annual awards evening hosted last week, Clare, Emma, and Sarah were rewarded at the CIPD Awards for demonstrating outstanding commitment to their studies over the past year.

Sarah, who studied the level 5 course, said, “I met lots of interesting people whilst studying at St Helens College, I made plenty of new friends. It was great learning alongside HR professionals, gaining new skills which will help me gain a role in Human Resources.” She continued, “The best part of my time at St Helens College was graduation, my family were really proud seeing me graduate in my cap and gown.”

Tutor Alan Finn, said “It’s always a privilege to host the CIPD Annual Student of the Year Awards on behalf of the St Helens, Runcorn, and Warrington CIPD group. CIPD qualifications are a real benefit in students career progression and while all our students who achieve their CIPD qualification should be proud, it is pleasing that CIPD wish to acknowledge the achievements of a student from each of the qualifications, who have gone that extra mile in their studies.”
