Level 3 Certificate in Text Processing

This course is suitable for those who wish to obtain advanced skills to progress into a career in Business Administration or who wish to undertake further professional development. This is a very well respected qualification which will equip you with valuable, transferable skills.

When will I start the course and how long will it take?

The course has flexible start dates throughout the year. You will attend College for one day per week for 18 weeks.

What will I study?

As part of this qualification you may study a number of units including:

  • Text production
  • Word processing
  • Audio transcription
  • Document presentation
  • Speed keying

Unit selection can be tailored to suit your requirements.

How is it assessed?

There will be a number of exams throughout the year. You will be fully supported by your tutor.

Do I need any previous qualifications to start this course?

Yes, you need a level 2 certificate/diploma in text production.

What can I go on to do once I have completed this course?

Upon successful completion of this course you may wish to progress onto our HNC in Business, an ITQ course or an AAT accounting course. The course is also ideal for preparing students for employment in an office environment.
