Level 2 Certificate in Text Processing

This qualification is aimed at those who have no text processing skills and knowledge. It will be suitable for those who want to pursue employment in text processing related job roles.

It's also suitable if you are already employed in text processing roles and who wish to develop their existing basic knowledge and understanding of business documentation.

When will I start the course and how long will it take?

The course has flexible start dates taking one year to complete.

What will I study?

As you work towards your level 2 in Text Processing, you will complete a number of units, such as:

  • Text Production
  • Word Processing
  • Audio Transcription
  • Legal Text Processing

How is it assessed?

For this qualification you will complete a number of exams throughout the year. You will fully supported by your tutor.

Do I need any previous qualifications to start this course?

You do not need any prior qualifications or experience, however you will undertake an initial assessment prior to enrolment.

What can I go on to do once I have completed this course?

Upon successful completion of this course you may wish to progress onto the level 3 certificate in Text Processing. Some of our previous students have progressed onto AAT accounting courses, ITQ courses and more. The course is also ideal for preparing students for employment in an office environment.
