An introduction to Time Management

Our one-day Time Management Course will give you the insight you need to efficiently and effectively manage your time.

You'll find out which time management issues apply to you, and put together a plan designed for you.

When will I start the course and how long will it take?

This course takes one day to complete. You will attend College from 9.00am to 5.00pm.

This course has start dates throughout the year, upcoming start dates include:

  • Friday 15th September 2017
  • Friday 3rd November 2017
  • Friday 12th January 2018
  • Monday 19th March 2018
  • Friday 11th May 2018

If required, we are able to set discrete dates for employers upon request.

What will I study?

During the course, you will cover the following:

  • Explore why time management issues arise
  • Improve ability to plan and prioritise work
  • The importance of setting clear goals
  • Minimize wasted time and distractions in the workplace
  • How to avoid being deflected from your priorities
  • Self-motivation as a time management tool
  • Dealing with unexpected events that steal time
  • Tools and techniques for effective delegation
  • How to say 'no' to some 'now' requests

On completion of the training course, you will be able to:

  • You will be able to plan and prioritise work
  • Set clear goals for yourself and others
  • Use your own motivation as a time management tool
  • Deal with unexpected events that may cause issues in completion of tasks.
  • Use a variety of tools and techniques for effective delegation.
  • Most importantly know how to say 'no' to some 'now' requests.

What are the course fees?

The total cost of this workshop is £100 per person.

What can I go on to do once I have completed this course?

Upon successful completion of this course, you may wish to attend one of the other many short business courses offered, including An introduction to Team Building, An introduction to Performance Management or An introduction to Time Management.
