Introduction to Finance for Non-Financial Managers Course

Finance is important in all management roles.

This workshop focuses on removing the jargon and introducing financial concepts to non-financial managers.

When will I start the course and how long will it take?

This course has various start dates. You will need attend College for two days.

If required, discreet dates for employers can also be set.

What will I study?

During the course you will study the following:

  • The language of finance
  • The key financial statements
  • Credit control
  • Capital expenditure/project appraisal
  • How to analyse and create Income Statement accounts, Statement of Financial Positions and cash flow statements
  • How to prepare a business case
  • The key stages in the budgeting process
  • The benefits and limitations of budgeting
  • Managing cash flow
  • EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization)

How is it assessed?

There is no formal assessment. The aim of this course is to upskill and improve your knowledge of finance.

Do I need any previous qualifications to start this course?

There are no formal entry requirements. All you will need is commitment and enthusiasm.

What are the course fees?

This total cost of this course is £250.00.
