Microsoft Excel Level 1 Fundamentals

If you're new to Excel or are going to be using Excel in the future, you'll need to understand the fundamentals. This course will provide you with a solid platform from which you can learn. By completing this course, you'll save yourself a lot of time when using Excel.

This course introduces you to the power of Microsoft Excel starting from the beginning. You'll learn how to open and close files, how to enter formulae into a cell, build basic charts and format a spreadsheet. You'll learn how to use the most important features of Excel.

When will I start the course and how long will it take?

This course has flexible start dates. You will attend college for one afternoon (usually Wednesday) from 1.30pm - 7.00pm.

If required, we are able to set discrete dates for employers upon request.

This course is flexible and can be tailored to meet individual student requirements. The course can cover:

  • Add Borders and Colours to Cells
  • Align Content in a Cell
  • Apply Number Formatting
  • Apply Cell Styles
  • Manage Worksheets
  • View Worksheets and Workbooks
  • Define the Page Layout.
  • Use conditional formatting

The total cost of this course is £99.

What can I go on to do once I have completed this course?

Upon completion of this course you will have the opportunity to progress onto Microsoft Excel level 2 Intermediate to further develop your knowledge.
