17th Edition IEE Regulations
This course is for people who work in the electrical contracting industry and require a thorough working knowledge of wiring regulations. It is a legal requirement for anyone working in the electricity industry working on jobs which fall under the regulations of the IET 17th Edition Wiring Regulations to hold a relevant, proven qualification that allows them to complete the work to the correct standards. This applies whether you are brand new to the industry and if you're already an existing electrician.
When will I start the course and how long will it take?
This course has start dates in September and January and will take 14 weeks to complete. You will attend College for one evening per week on a Wednesday.

Part 2: Definitions
Part 3: General characteristics
Part 4: Protection for safety
Part 5: Selection and erection of equipment
Part 6: Testing
Part 7: Special locations
How is it assessed?
You will be assessed through a two-hour open book on-line exam.
Do I need any previous qualifications to start this course?
This course is suitable for Electricians, Engineers or anyone who has completed a Level 2 Electrical qualification.
What are the course fees?
The total cost of the course is £350
What can I go on to do once I have completed this course?
You may wish to take other related qualifications in this area such as the 2394 / 2395 Inspection and Test. The qualification provides suitable knowledge to progress your career in the industry. The qualification means you will be qualified for undertaking wiring work.
