CMI Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Leadership and Management (Postgraduate)
This course is suitable for those who are currently practising middle or senior level managers and wish to gain a formal qualification in order to reinforce your existing knowledge, build on your current work experience and prepare you for future advancements.
When will I start the course and how long will it take?
This course will commence in January, April and September. Taking two years to complete you will attend the college for three hours a week.
What will I study?
Based at the Town Centre Campus you will be taught by industry professionals and you will explore the key concepts and elements of strategic leadership and management. The following nine modules will be covered:
- Personal development
- Strategic performance management
- Financial management
- Strategic information management
- Conducting a strategic management report
- Organisational direction and strategic planning
- Strategic marketing and strategic planning
- Strategic leadership practice
- Human resource management
How is it assessed?
You will complete a written assignment at the end of each module studied.
Do I need any previous qualifications to start this course?
You must be 19 years or over to enrol on this course. Your previous qualifications and work experience will be considered during the application process.

What can I go on to do once I have completed this course?
Upon successful completion of this course you will be able to register as a Student Member with the Chartered Management Institute, the leading professional association for managers and supervisors in Europe. Your CMI qualifications will be recognised by employers nationally.
