Picture of our studentsUniversity Centre St Helens and Shaping Futures are offering all level three students the opportunity to participate in a short course, aimed at preparing students for academic writing at both university and employment level.

The sessions will take place over four weeks, starting on Wednesday 7th March. Students will be given help and support in preparing applications for university, apprenticeships and higher apprenticeships, as well as support with writing covering letters and CVs.

Ideal for those who are considering university but who have not yet applied, or those who are looking to enter the world of work upon completion of college, all attendees will receive a free Starbucks at each session, whilst those who attend all four sessions will receive a free hoodie and pizza, at the last session.

Sessions will take place between 3pm and 4pm in University Centre St Helens' K2 room - the lecture theatre within the historic Beecham's building.

Students interested in progressing onto a degree programme with University Centre St Helens will have the opportunity to undertake a tour of the facilities during these sessions and everyone who attends will have access to dedicated 1:1 university guidance from a Shaping Futures expert at the end of the four week programme.
