Adele Tate

Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma in Public Service

Adele Tate"Before studying public services, I wasn’t sure what career I wanted or even if university would be the right fit for me, but it has really helped me to improve my confidence, teamwork skills and leadership skills. Once I have completed the course, I am hoping to study BSc (Hons) Forensic Psychology and Criminal Justice at university.

One of my biggest achievements while at St Helens College was reaching level 9.1 on my bleep test, as the minimum requirement to join the Police Force is 5.4! In my spare time, I am the High Sheriff of Merseyside’s Police Cadet, assisting him with ceremonial duties and building my work experience as I hope to join the Special Constables while I am at university."
