Our performing arts students teamed up with Healthy St Helens to work on a live brief project as part of their studies.

The students were tasked with devising a performance piece to raise awareness of illegal drug use.

This was then performed live in local schools including year 8 pupils at Haydock High and Penkford School.

Through theatre and performance, they visually explored the dangers of drug use and addiction and how to make informed positive choices.

This provided performing arts students with the opportunity to develop real, transferable skills and experience within theatre education production, essential for gaining successful employment.
