Teaching is a stimulating and rewarding career. Whether you are looking to work with some of the youngest members of society or those studying at post-16 level, University Centre St Helens offers a range of Early Years and Teaching degrees at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Our Early Years Practice degrees are ideal for practitioners working in early years settings, whether that be in paid employment or a voluntary experience.

As an Early Years student, you will gain a strong academic grounding in a range of early years theories, policies and procedures, improving your current knowledge and understanding of early years issues, allowing you to be a more effective and efficient practitioner.

As an institution, we have been training teachers and educators for over 50 years, and pride ourselves in developing confident and adaptable graduates who are in demand. Whether you already work in education, or are looking to gain a teaching qualification, to allow you to share a passion for your subject specialism with the next generation, we offer a range of qualifications, all available to study on a part-time basis.

Our Early Years degrees are validated by Liverpool John Moores University and Chester University, whilst our postgraduate qualifications are validated by the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan). All are delivered at University Centre St Helens.
