During this course, you will enhance your knowledge of customer service and retail travel services whilst exploring visitor attractions and the role of resort representatives and tour operations.
You will also discover the importance of promotional activities in travel and tourism by conducting market research or creating effective promotional materials for target markets.
The course will start in September and will take one year to complete.
This course will take place at our Town Centre Campus, Water Street, St Helens, WA10 1PP.

You will be assessed through a combination of short written tests, case studies, projects, presentations and role plays.
You should have three GCSEs at grade 3 or above.
Achieving a good standard of English and maths is a key requirement for many jobs, as well as for courses you may wish to progress on to. If you achieve below a grade 4 in your English and maths GCSEs at school, you will study it alongside your course when you join us.
If you are a school leaver, aged 16-18, (under the age of 19 on or before 31st August 2024), you do not pay tuition fees or examination and registration fees and may be eligible for additional support depending on your financial situation. Once you have completed this course, you could progress on to the level 3 Extended Diploma in Travel and Tourism.
Alternatively, you may wish to develop your career within aviation, so you could progress on to the level 2 Diploma in Cabin Crew or level 3 Diploma in Aviation Operations.
