Your health and wellbeing is very important to us. As a College, we are committed to:

  • ensuring every individual is respected and valued;
  • providing an enjoyable, safe, supportive and caring environment, building confidence and providing excellent skills development for life and work;
  • providing a supportive culture.

If you need to report a concern, ask for advice and support or just want someone to talk to, we have a dedicated Safeguarding, Mental Health and Wellbeing Team, who is available across all our campuses.

We also have a quiet, comfortable room at each campus, where you can rest, think, meditate or pray.

Safeguarding

It is our duty to protect and promote our students’ welfare by providing a safe College environment and having clear processes and measures in place to safeguard them against harm.

Prevent

We are committed to safeguarding all students, young people and vulnerable adults from the threat of extremist view, the danger of radicalisation and the influence of terrorist groups, as part of the Government’s ‘Prevent’ strategy.

All College staff have received detailed training on Prevent and are on hand to help support any students, parents/carers and visitors who may need it.
