Do you prefer to learn in a practical, more hands-on way?

Technical courses, also known as ‘vocational’ or sometimes ‘BTECs’ are available at different levels, from entry level through to level 3 and take one or two-years to complete.

One Course, Full-Time

With a technical course, you will study one subject, full-time, combined with GCSE English and/or Maths, if you do not have a grade 4 or above, and an industry work placement.

Excellent Progression

Technical courses are just as valuable as A levels and still give you the opportunity to go to university, complete an apprenticeship or secure employment.

Student Success

“I completed seven placements alongside my course, including volunteering at the College’s animal unit on weekends! This has really boosted my personal statement when applying to university.”
