What is Clearing?

What is Clearing?

Clearing is a system provided by UCAS and used by universities across the country that matches applicants with universities that still have unfilled places.

Thousands of university places are allocated this way every year. Most universities have additional places available for students that haven’t made their mind up yet, or whose circumstances mean they need to look at alternative options.
