Our Foundation Academy students rounded off their year with their annual Christmas performance. This year’s performance called ‘Mr. Scrooge’s Excellent Adventure’, saw Scrooge being taken through time by the infamous Bill and Ted, discovering the moment his parents met and how the power of music can influence emotion. By the end, even bah humbug Scrooge couldn’t keep his feet from tapping to the music.
During the performance, a collection took place to help raise funds for their upcoming summer performance at St Helens Theatre Royal in June, where by students will have the opportunity to develop valuable skills such as communication, listening to others and working as a team, in order to plan and showcase their performance. They even create their own stage props!
