Last week, our Foundation Academy students showcased their end-of-year performance of "Legends" at the St Helens Theatre Royal to a packed out crowd of friends and family.
Foundation Academy Tutor, Karen, said, “The performance went very well and was thoroughly enjoyed by all performers and the audience. We are very proud of each and every student. The work put into the rehearsals over many months, shows the true meaning of teamwork for both students and staff.”
The incredible months of rehearsals and preparation shone throughout the performance, which featured a number of choreographed dance routines as well as popular renditions of songs from popular artists such as George Ezra.
Karen continued, “The level and abilities of the students vary greatly, but every student’s effort is of equal importance for the success it brings them. Our students develop various personal skills throughout the process of preparation and equally on the day of the event.”
“All students are involved with either the prep side of the event, the actual event and/or both. All students thoroughly enjoy their participation to perform and produce the outcome. They are extremely proud of their efforts, as are all staff and parents within the department. A huge well done to them all!”
Take a look at the pictures of the brilliant performance below.
