Gin Tasting Experience - Artisan UK Gins

This course is suitable for students aged 19 and over.

Our Gin Tasting Experience is a GIN-TASTIC way to try artisan UK gin that you may not have come across before.

Small gin producers are making a huge impact, mixing stylish design with tantalising new flavour combinations. As a result, gin is an exciting prospect for both newcomers and gin faithful's looking to try something new.

This course is perfect for the absolute beginner through to budding gin enthusiasts. It will also make the perfect gift for a gin lover!

When will I start the course and how long will it take?

This course will take place on Wednesday 16th October 2019. You will attend College for one week, from 6.00pm - 9.00pm.

This short, leisure course takes place in Colours Restaurant, Town Centre Campus, St Helens, WA10 1PP.

What will I study?

The course will provide you with an opportunity to deepen your knowledge about a range of Botanical, Plymouth and London distilled gins from the UK, along with gin-based cocktails and mixers.

It's a great way to meet new people who share your passion for gin.

How is it assessed?

There is no formal assessment. As with all our leisure courses the main emphasis is to come along and enjoy the course.

Do I need any previous qualifications to start this course?

There are no formal entry requirements, however, you will need to be at least 18 years old to participate in this course. Proof of ID is required.

What are the course fees?

The total cost of this course is £30. The course price is inclusive of all gins that you will taste during the session.

What can I go on to do once I have completed this course?

Upon completion, you will have developed a more comprehensive understanding of this traditionally English spirit. You may wish to progress on to our other Colours Cookery School courses.
