Green Energy Skills Centre Our new £500k Green Energy Skills Centre based in St Helens is a specialist training centre, focused on skills development and knowledge of green home energy technology including air and ground source heat pumps. We have courses starting from January 2024: • Level 3 Award in Electric Vehicle Charging Installations - £750 • Domestic Hot Water Storage Systems (Unvented Hot Water) - £200 NEW: Air Source Heat Pump Installation Training Packs TRAINING PACK 1: Duration: 5 Days Cost: £600* • Water Regulations and Byelaws (pre-requisite of below qualification) • Level 3 Air Source Heat Pumps • Heating Systems Design (1 day) *If eligible, you may benefit from a £500 Heat Training Scheme voucher, which means all you need to pay is £100. TRAINING PACK 2: Duration: 10 Days Cost: Free** • W ater Regulations and Byelaws (pre-requisite of below qualification) • Level 3 Air Source Heat Pumps • Low Temperature Hot Water Heating Systems • Part L - Energy Efficiency **Free for self-employed and unemployed, £60 if working for an employer with up to 250 employees or £180 if working for an employer with over 250 employees.
