Directions Course Directions is a free course aimed at young people aged 16-18, who aren't surewhat they would like to study, have struggled in education in the past or haven't decidedwhat career they would like in the future. With our multiple pathways, youwill gain a level 1 employability qualification and improve your English andmaths skills. Youmay also have the opportunity to gain valuablework experience and sample some of our vocational courses to explorewhat youmight like to study. Directions has various start dates throughout the year and can take 12weeks to a year to completewith a view to continuing your studies on a full time course for the rest of the year. The tutors were incredible - so supportive and nurturing and gaveme the confidence and self- esteem to sample different courses to see what I enjoyed. Through doing this, I found my passion for catering and have just completed the Level 1. Autism is not a barrier tome achievingmy goals – I amproud of everything I have achieved so far!" Youwill gain a nationally recognised qualification which is held in high regard by employers. Over the last five years, three in four young people supported by The Prince’s Trust moved intowork, education or training.
