The College’s creative arts students recently took part in St Helens Borough of Culture festival, ‘One Amazing Day’, an event which was attended by hundreds of people as the town celebrated its history, heritage, culture, and future.

First-year BA (Hons) Fine Art Painting students transformed the former Topshop store in St Helens town centre into an art gallery, showcasing the pieces they had created during an overseas painting exchange with French Art School, Ecole Media Arts, which is situated in one of St Helens’ twin towns, Chalon-sur-Saône.

Level 3 Performing Arts students also took part in street performances during the festival, whilst BA (Hons) Graphic Design students proudly paraded with their specially designed flags, which were flown on the townhall across the weekend.
