This one-year course is specifically designed to prepare you for a successful career as an employed and/or self-employedBeauty Therapist. Youwill delve into the science behind beauty therapy treatments by exploring anatomy, physiology and electrical science. Youwill also provide a range of beauty treatments including skin and body analysis, face and body electrical treatments andSwedishmassage. What will I need? You should have successfully achieved a level 2 Beauty Therapy qualification, or equivalent. Progression You are ready to gain employment in the industry. Level 2Diploma Hair andMediaMakeup Studies What will I study? During this one-year course, youwill develop your skills and knowledge of makeup applications, photographicmakeup and shaping and colouring eyebrows. Youwill create intricate body and nail art, whilst researching and developing different styles and trends for the industry and theatre. What will I need? You should have four GCSEs at grade 3 or above, including English andmaths. Progression You could progress on to the level 3 Diploma in Theatrical, Special Effects, Hair and MediaMakeup. What will I study? This one-year course explores all aspects of creative, theatrical mediamakeup fromcamouflage, fashion and photographicmakeup to designing and applying face and body art. You will develop a range of technical abilities, whilst gaining crucial experience of workingwith theatre productions and professional clients. What will I need? You should have successfully achieved a level 2 Hair andMediaMakeup qualification or equivalent. Progression You are ready to gain employment in the industry.
