Throughout this one-year course, you will enhance your skills within plumbing installations while developing an understanding of low carbon technology and renewable energy. You will also have the opportunity to gain work experience alongside your course and understand the principles of heating systems, electricity and components. What will I need? You should have successfully achieved a level 1 construction qualification or have achieved a grade 4 or above in English andmaths. Progression You could progress on to the level 3Advanced Technical Diploma inPlumbing at our St Helens Campus or a level 3 apprenticeship. Level 2 Technical Certificate Electrical Installation What will I study? During this one-year course, youwill gain a diverse range of skills and knowledge in order to develop a career as anElectrician in a domestic, commercial or industrial environment. Youwill develop an understanding of electrical installation technology, electrotechnical technology and electrical science including gaining valuablework experience in the industry. What will I need? You should have successfully achieved a level 1 Electrical Installation qualification or have achieved a grade 4 or above in English andmaths. Progression You could progress on to the T Level in Building Services Engineering for Construction (Electrotechnical Engineering) or a level 3 apprenticeship.
