We are delighted that your child has chosen to study with us to further their studies. We are committed to providing a quality learning environment and will do our very best to ensure they receive a first-class learning experience and ensure that they have access to the support they require to help them successfully achieve their qualifications and make plans for future progress.

Your child will be allocated a Progress Coach whilst they are studying with us and they will monitor their progress throughout their course. If you have any questions, concerns or issues that you would like to discuss regarding their studies or their experiences in College, please do not hesitate to contact them directly.

Monitoring Learner Progress

We are committed to providing a valuable and supportive learning experience for all learners, helping them achieve their career and learning objectives and make a positive contribution to society.

To support this commitment you will now be able to access your childs attendance, punctuality and progress.

You can access Parent/Carer Pro-Portal here:

To ensure that your child has the best chance of successfully achieving their qualifications, excellent attendance and punctuality is vital. They are required to attend every session as stated on their timetable.

We monitor attendance very carefully and take early interventions if we believe that non-attendance is going to have an adverse impact on their studies. We would, therefore, request that holidays are not taken in term time.

If your son or daughter is going to be absent from College for whatever reason, it is important that you let us know before 08.45am. Use the button below to report an absence.

Parent and Carer Handbook

Parental and carer involvement is encouraged at all stages of the student’s career journey. We recognise that parents and carers are the biggest influence on a young person’s career choices. Therefore, we offer help and guidance to parents and carers at critical stages in the student’s time with us.

To support this, we host Parent Welcome Events during the first few weeks of term, providing impartial careers information, advice, and guidance to all parents and carers.

Additionally, parents and carers can speak with the Careers Coordinator at any time. Appointments can be arranged by phone, through the form on the parent section of the college website, or at any of their child’s parent evenings.

In keeping with our commitment to provide students with outstanding careers guidance and tailored support when choosing their next step after college, we use Unifrog; an award-winning, online careers platform. All students now have access to this excellent website.
