Our level 3 Health and Social Care students have been putting their presentation skills into practice this morning as part of their Health Education Module.
As part of the module the students are required to work together on a small campaign to highlight current health and social issues. The classes were split into groups of 4 and chose a topic to research and present back to curriculum staff and students from across the department including Childcare, Cadets and Level 2 students.

Lyn Saunders from Healthy Living at St Helens Council, Clare Webster and Pat Walsh were members of today’s panel to provide students with feedback on their findings and guest speakers included Paul Johnson (College Chaplain), Ken Dearing (Community Support Officer for the St Helens area and Emma Cuerden from St Helens & Knowsley NHS Health Promotion Team provided some authenticity to their campaigns.

All the students worked really hard on their projects over the past couple of months and delivered some fantastic presentations.
