Today our Cabin Crew, Aviation and Travel and Tourism students visited Fleetwood Offshore Survival Centre to undertake wet drills and water survival training.
Students learnt how to evacuate an aircraft into a life raft as well as water survival training using each other as passengers who needed saving. They then had to climb in and out of a raft in a range of weather conditions. The final activity had them hoisted out of the water onto the platform simulating a helicopter rescue.
After the students had all dried off, they received a certificate to complete their training. Have a look at the full gallery below!
