This privacy notice is issued by the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), on behalf of the Secretary of State for the Department of Education (DfE). It is to inform learners how their personal information will be used by the DfE, the ESFA (an executive agency of the DfE) and any successor bodies to these organisations.

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, in particular for the following reasons:

  • We will use the contact details provided to invite you to attend information and enrolment events in relation to your course and to request further information from you, where required, to support the admissions and enrolment process and to keep in touch with you before starting your course.
  • We may use the information provided to monitor and support your progress as a student.
  • We may use the information to improve our products and services.
  • We may periodically send promotional emails about new products/services or other information which we think you may find interesting, using the mail address which you have provided.

Student Declation

  • The implications and the suitability of the programme have been indicated to me
  • The entry requirements for the programme have been explained to me
  • Progression routes have been explained to me and appropriate credits or exemptions taken into account

  • I declare that, to the best of my knowledge, the information I have provided is correct and that should my circumstances change, including my eligibility for concessionary fees or any charges or bail conditions arising after enrolment, I will notify the College Group immediately
  • I certify I have listed all the relevant qualifications that I have obtained
  • If enrolling on a Study Programme, I confirm that I am not studying at any other institution this academic year
  • I understand maths and English are a mandatory part of my programme if I do not currently have a GCSE grade A* - C (new grade 4- 9) in these subjects, I will be enrolled on the appropriate level (16-18 only)
  • I consent to the College processing personal data contained on this form. Information will be shared with parents of students aged 18 and under at the start of their programme, unless students have reasonable grounds for requesting otherwise
  • I consent to my personal data being shared with examination boards if access arrangements are being applied for on my behalf
  • I understand that if I have falsely declared any information in relation to the receipt of full funding, the provider may take action to reclaim all or part of the associated fees
  • I understand that the College reserves the right to change tutors, re-schedule, cancel, close or combine courses if necessary
  • I confirm that I have been made aware of the college’s fees and charging policy
  • I confirm that I have been made aware of refund of fees information (see below)
    • Full Cost Courses - Full Cost Courses will not be refunded
    • Funded Courses - Co-Funded/Advanced Loan Courses - Any refund due will be pro-rated in line with funding rules.

    • Separate terms and conditions for online course bookings and payments apply
  • I understand that in the event of missed examinations I will be charged for any associated resit costs. Any certificates must be collected from designated collection points within 12 months of achievement. The College Group will confidentially dispose of uncollected certificates after this period.
  • I understand that if I am continually absent from College for over 4 weeks without good reason and I persistently refuse to attend college then the College Group may terminate my enrolment on my programme of study.
  • I confirm that I am aware that full terms and conditions are available on the College Group Website and it is my responsibility to ensure that I have read and understood them.
  • I agree to pay any fees that are due as part of my course
