The directing module has also allowed me to experience a side of theatre that I wouldn’t have explored on my own, having the opportunity to work behind the camera and backstage.” Caitlin BA (Hons) Theatre and Performance (Top-up) Theatre and Performance (Top-up) - BA (Hons) The one-year, BA (Hons) Theatre and Performance (Top-up) is designed for students who have already completed a relevant level 5 qualification in a related subject including the FdA Theatre and Performance. Modules: • Contemporary Theatre Performances • Student Defined Study • Performance as Research Project • Professional Practice Workshop-based sessions will provide the opportunity to increase your skills and experience in devising and performing, complemented by lectures and seminars to develop your reflective and analytical skills. Progression Opportunities Successful graduates could progress on to further study or professional work in community arts, acting, solo performance work, teaching, theatre production, scripting and touring theatre companies. As a graduate, you may choose to continue your studies with University Centre St Helens, progressing on to the Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) to pursue a career in teaching.
