We recently held our annual Student Rep Conference, seeing representatives from all our course areas coming together to discuss this year’s theme, growth mindset!

The students enjoyed talks from the College’s Chair of Governors, Bill Nixon, and Student Governor, Adam, who spoke about what it's like to be a Student Governor, what he’s been involved with so far and how this opportunity will help him on his journey to a career in the Police force.

Champlain and Welfare Manager, Paul, from St Helens RLFC, also delivered an inspiring session on mindset, followed by a visit from Kriss from Merseyside Police in celebration of Pride month, who shared his own LGBT+ and neurodiversity journey, and the work he’s now doing with Merseyside Police to tackle hate crimes, diversity and inclusion.

A big thank you to all our amazing guests and students! Our student reps play a crucial part in helping to shape and better our college, not only for current students but for future students too.
