Cake Decoration, Sugar and Spice, Let's Royal Ice

This course is ideal for those who are interested in cake decoration and who have previously completed the cake decoration course. This course is the next step in developing and enhancing your decorative skills to perfecting your cakes at a higher standard.

When will I start the course and how long will it take?

This course starts on Tuesday 6th June, from 6.00pm - 9.00pm and will take 3 weeks to complete.

What will I study?

The course provides you with an opportunity to further enhance your skills in finishing cakes for every occasion whether that be for birthdays, Christmas, weddings or any other special events. Using Royal and fondant icing, you will learn more in depth the intricacies of piping and creating a medley of fine intricate finishes not only will you glean tricks of the trade but the programme will also encourage you to develop your creative side.

How is it assessed?

There is no formal assessment. The course is aimed to increase your own knowledge of the subject matter.

Do I need any previous qualifications to start this course?

There are no formal entry requirements. All you will need is commitment and the enthusiasm. As with all our leisure courses the main emphasis is too come along and enjoy.

What are the course fees?

The total cost of the course is £60. The course price is inclusive of all of the ingredients that you will need for each session. You can take home your creations to enjoy.

What can I go on to do once I have completed this course?

You may progress onto our other Colours Cookery School courses or alternatively you may wish to pursue an accredited qualification in this subject which will allow you to practice your skills in the industry.
