Work Experience
As part of your level 2 or level 3 study programme, you will complete a minimum of 30 hours work experience related to your studies.
As well as boosting your CV, work placements are a chance for you to find out more about your career goals and interests, meet new people, find out what inspires you, develop your skills and discover your strengths.
We encourage students to gain work experience independently and start looking for opportunities as soon as they start their course in September. If you are struggling to find a placement that is suited to your career aims, our team of dedicated Work Placement Officers will be on hand to support you!
If you choose to study Early Years or Health and Social Care, you will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check prior to the start of your placement.
