University Centre St Helens Graduation Ceremony

This year’s Graduation Ceremony will take place on Saturday 11th November 2023 at the St Helens Parish Church.

All students who have booked to attend will receive their guest tickets approximately 2 weeks prior to the event. Tickets will be sent via post and each guest, including children, must have their own, individual ticket. Graduating students do not need a ticket.

Please ensure your guests bring their tickets with them on the day. Failure to do so will result in non-admittance to the ceremony

All graduating students can register and collect their robes from 8.00am on Saturday 11th November 2023 from the main St Helens Town Centre Campus building. Registration and robe collection will close at 9.30am prompt. Smart business wear will look best on your photographs under your graduation robes.

Please allow plenty of time for photographs, robe collection and registration. The canteen will be open for refreshments and light breakfast items from 8.15am and there will be a group photograph at 9.45am outside the main building (weather permitting).

The ceremony will commence with a student procession through St Helens Town Centre. This will leave the Town Centre Campus at 10.15am.

We expect the ceremony to finish at approximately 12.30pm, with all graduates and guests being invited back to the Town Centre Campus for a canapé reception.

All robes must be returned by 1.30pm on the day.

Graduation Magnetars

Don’t allow your graduation robes dictate your outfit. Our branded magnetars are not only a brilliant keepsake but are also an evolutionary and unique solution to prevent your academic hood slipping.

The magnetars are two pairs of strong magnets with the unique design feature of interlocking 'teeth' which holds the fabric in a vice-like grip without damaging material.
