Our talented level 3 Graphic Design students were tasked with creating a series of innovative poster designs to help promote the College’s Environmental Strategy and our vision for a greener future.

The posters, which are now proudly displayed across the College on TV screens, incorporate some of our key focuses, including renewable energy, waste recycling, zero landfill policy, green initiative, and a carbon footprint reduction.

Graphic Design tutor Graham Williams said: "This project was the perfect opportunity for the students to work on a set brief, giving them the chance to receive and respond to client feedback, a key skill they’ll need for their future careers.

"Their challenge was to take often visually dry information and present it in a creative, dynamic way that would appeal to and catch the attention of passers-by. With climate change being such a prevalent issue, it’s great that the students can use their talents to help raise awareness and showcase the steps the College is taking towards a greener future.”

If you'd like to get involved in the next project, applications are still open to join us this September! Visit the dedicated Graphic Design course page.
