Our Animal Management Unit welcomed a new resident last week!

Sebastian the African bullfrog is settling into his new home at the unit.

African bullfrogs are the second largest frog species in the word. Although they don't have teeth, they have tooth-like structures on their bottom jaw called odontodes that are used to grab onto prey.

A male African bullfrog can grow to be almost 10 inches long, so we look forward to watching Sebastian grow!

Interested in working with Sebastian? Apply now to study Animal Management with us in September 2022!
