Level 3 Graphic Design students recently completed an exciting project, bringing to life animations based on book covers.

The collaborative animation project focused on books that had been adapted into films, including well-known titles such as “The Maze Runner,” “Jaws” and “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.” The students were tasked with finding new and innovative ways to bring the concepts of the books to life using a diverse range of digital techniques.

“The work produced by the students ranged from fully digital 3D animation to mixed media elements such as collage, painting and drawings, amalgamated with digital editing and animation techniques,” said Graham, Graphic Design tutor. “This has resulted in the chosen books being explored in creative and unique ways to produce a dynamic range of visual ideas.”
