Advanced Techniques in Dog Grooming

This course is the perfect next step if you have already completed our Preliminary Dog Grooming course or, if you already have some industry experience and would like to enhance your skills, knowledge and employability.

During this part-time, 12 week course you will learn how to groom different breeds of dog, provide a first-class customer care experience and discover the business opportunities that are available upon completion of the course.

This course is suited to those with a keen interest in the subject who may be considering kick-starting a successful career within this growing industry.

When will I start the course and how long will it take?

This part-time course has start dates in September, December and March, and will take 12 weeks to complete. The course has daytime and evening study options and you will attend college for one, three hour session per week.

What will I study?

During this 12 week course you will study a variety of different modules that will help you gain essential sector knowledge and skills at a more advanced level. Many of our successful students have secured employment within the industry and have even gone onto running their own dog grooming business/salon.

You will be assessed through your practical course work and punctuality.

Do I need any previous qualifications to start this course?

To enrol onto this course you will ideally possess previous experience in dog grooming or hold a preliminary dog grooming qualification.

What are the course fees?

The total cost of this course is £625. To secure your place, you will need to pay a £200 deposit with the remaining balance payable upon enrolment.
