Our Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery students and apprentices were welcomed back after half-term with a visit from Paslode UK & Ireland, the UK’s leading nail gun manufacturer, who ran a nail gun training workshop with our students recently.
The students were given a practical demonstration of how to use the equipment, shown the correct health and safety procedures, and then had a go themselves, using the guns to fix timber materials securely and safely.
The students gained key skills which will be a great benefit to them in their future careers. They also came away with a Paslode Certificate and were shown how to access numerous online training courses for those interested in furthering their skills.
